Which exams are supported today?
UPSC (General Studies I and CSAT), TNPSC (Group I & II, Other Exams, English, Tamil), State PSC (APPSC, APSC, KPSC, Kerala PSC, Hindi) and NEET — 13 sub-formatters in total. Banking (IBPS, SBI, RBI) is on the roadmap.
What file formats are supported?
.docx (Microsoft Word, via mammoth.js) and .pdf (via pdf.js). Bold formatting, images, tables and text styles are all captured. You can also paste questions directly into the manual panel — no upload needed.
How does the answer key work?
Make the correct option bold in the source. The parser detects bold options and maps them to question numbers. Standalone lines like A1 B2 C3 or Ans 1. (a) are recognised too. Export the key as a separate PDF, with or without explanations.
Does the TNPSC formatter handle bilingual Tamil-English papers?
Yes. The TNPSC parser accepts mixed Tamil and English in one document, splits stems on " / ", pairs options by label (A↔A, B↔B…) across both languages, and supports single or double column output. For Tamil-only questions with four options it auto-appends (E) "விடை தெரியவில்லை".
How are mathematical and scientific formulas handled?
Inline LaTeX — $E=mc^2$, \(\frac{a}{b}\) or display $$…$$ — is rendered by MathJax 3 (TeX-SVG). A toolbar dialog gives you a live preview before insertion. Chemical formulas use real <sub> / <sup> tags so H₂O and X² stay sharp in the exported PDF.
Can I add or edit images inside questions?
Yes. Images embedded in your .docx / .pdf attach to the correct question automatically. The floating toolbar also lets you insert new images at the cursor, and resize, rotate 90° or delete any image in place.
Can I edit the formatted paper before downloading?
Yes — stems, options, statements and instructions are all editable inline. A floating toolbar offers bold / italic / underline, subscript, superscript, alignment, image controls and LaTeX math.
What is the match-the-following format?
For TNPSC, Column I uses lowercase (a) (b)… or roman (i) (ii)… and Column II uses uppercase (A) (B)… or arabic 1. 2…. The parser auto-detects pairs without needing a source table, and builds the pairs grid for you in English or Tamil.
